Healthcare professionals use the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition (DSM-5) to assess whether someone meets the criteria for alcohol use disorder (AUD). This self-assessment helps you recognize your behaviors with alcohol and assess the potential for alcohol use disorder (AUD).
